Job Description
Leads and oversees implementation and supporting application system. Researches, studies, and analyzes system-related issues and provides appropriate resolution. Ensures the integrity, maintenance, and operations and its impact on data integrity for organization.
Job Responsibility
- Apply technical skills to design new solutions and build Epic Inpatient application features that meet client’s needs.
- Be an active participant in project meetings, lead discussions to demonstrate system functionality to clinical stakeholders
- Execute test scripts and document application changes for integrated areas and system upgrades.
- Provide rotational on-call 24/7 support as needed post go-live.
- Manages, designs and develops highly configurable, fault tolerant systems.
- Recommends new strategies and architecture to enhance efficiency of data systems.
- Maintains policies and procedures related to security and protecting privacy of client and company information.
- Responds to requests for changes from original specifications.
- Employees use knowledge and skills to contribute to the development of functional objectives and principles to achieve goals in innovative ways. Problems addressed are of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Job Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience and progressive experience where team leadership was demonstrated, required.
HIGHLY PREFERRED
- EpicCare Inpatient Procedure Orders Certified
- Experience in designing and building clinical content for providers such as procedures, order sets, and/or note templates.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, troubleshoot problems, and develop effective solutions. This includes root cause analysis and proactive problem prevention.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. This includes clear and concise documentation skills.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of application analysts, providing guidance, support, and provide feedback to management
- Experience with change management methodologies and processes within a healthcare setting.
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical healthcare setting

The salary range for this position is $98,300-$170,100/year
