Job Description
Responsible for directing staff and activities while optimizing technology solutions to support the organization’s strategic plan, as well as meeting the needs of patients, clinicians, and the community. This role manages the Western Region portfolio, encompassing Lenox Hill, Staten Island, Northern Westchester, and Phelps Memorial hospitals, including In-Patient and Article 28 locations. The position involves building strong relationships with senior leaders at the facilities and within Enterprise Digital Services, promoting departmental optimization, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving the adoption of solutions that align with the organization’s goals and objectives. This role is critical in ensuring regional operations align with enterprise-wide strategies to achieve impactful outcomes.
Job Responsibility
- Leads an IT&S Client Services group by communicating with and developing staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function or geographic area.
- Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
- Develops and monitors strategic operating goals, objectives and budget; reports operational performance, justification and/or corrective action; develops and oversees financial management including budget, salary, capital, and revenue projections; oversees the successful completion of all IT Capital approved and funded projects.
- Selects, develops, manages, and evaluates direct reports; oversees the development, management, and evaluation of indirect reports; builds and maintains productive inter/intra departmental and vendor work relationships to optimize operations.
- Oversees compliance with government and agency regulations; ensures adequate scheduling and assigns responsibilities to ensure an equitable distribution of work.
- Establishes leadership level relationships at the sites and with corporate IT departments; collaborates with enterprise leadership and the IS technical teams to prioritize and coordinate requests.
- Communicates Information Technology’s vision, goals and objectives, and the value add related to the execution and implementation of information system solutions.
- Promotes adoption of key strategic IT solutions in support of the strategic plan and the needs of patients, the physicians/clinicians and the community; analyzes key business initiatives and information needs that support, influences, and transforms the business operations and strategy.
- Works closely with Senior IT management to ensure that the plan is aligned with the Enterprise plan; provides leadership and management in order to execute on the agreed strategy.
- Provides leadership in defining the process, and the service levels delivered to the facilities; ensures that the operational service levels are accurate and are meeting the needs of the sites.
- Works with the business sponsor and other key members to define the ROI and projected post implementation review and analysis, ensuring that cost effective investments have been made.

Job Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 8-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Master’s Degree Highly Preferred
- Prior Healthcare Experience Highly Preferred

The salary range for this position is $140,100-$245,200/year
