Registered Nurse (RN)
As an RN, you will perform an age specific plan of care for a designated group of patients using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
- Requires a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, preferred.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two (2) years and obtain a BSN Degree within five (5) years of job entry date.
- Requires current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
From an RN, you can grow into a medical informatics specialist by obtaining a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience. You can also receive tuition reimbursement as you continue toward becoming a medical informatics specialist.
Clinical Informatics Specialist
Our clinical informatics specialists lead clinical information systems design, implementation and enhancement support to nurses, providers and allied health professionals throughout the health system. Assesses workflow related processes, requirements and facilitates operational improvements along with system enhancements and modifications to meet clinician requirements. Provides guidance to clinical informatics specialists and analysts, while providing project oversight and direction.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, pharmacy, healthcare management, allied health, information systems or related field, required.
- Master’s degree, preferred.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or other healthcare discipline in New York State required.
- Three to five (3-5) years healthcare related clinical experience required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant healthcare informatics experience, required.
After receiving relevant experience as a clinical informatics specialist, you can grow into a senior product services & management analyst.
Senior Product Services & Management Analyst
Supports and enhances products on larger, more complex or multiple products for enterprise resource planning, budgeting, data warehousing and financial reporting. Provides support to ensure all products are functioning optimally, data integrity is intact and financial reports are in alignment with are produced timely and accurately.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and related experience, required.
- Master’s degree in computer science, business, or engineering, preferred.
- Three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience, required.
