Job Description
Schedules and coordinates with patients, staff and physicians for the operating room on rotating weekends and holiday’s & all other related duties
Job Responsibility
- Obtains all necessary documentation.
- Communicates operating time, place and instructions to patient.
- Responds to patient inquiries related to surgery.
- Acts as liaison between the patient and physician regarding the surgery.
- Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.
Job Qualification
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
- Experience previously working as a Surgery Scheduler, Strongly Preferred.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology Strongly Preferred.
- Work Schedule: Part Time, ROTATING Weekends Only* With Rotating Holiday Coverage.

The salary range for this position is $36980.00-$55690.00/year. Salary reflects full-time employment and would be adjusted for part-time or per diem employment based on hours worked.
