Job Description
- Evaluation and treatment of orthopedic diagnoses of the upper extremity
- Fabricate custom orthotics for post-surgical diagnoses and non-operative injuries in the upper extremity
Job responsibility
- Independent with evaluation and treating post-surgical and conservative orthopedic diagnoses of the upper extremity
- Strong skills in splint/orthotic fabrication.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, physicians, and staff
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team-focused environment
- Motivated to deliver positive patient outcomes
Job Qualification
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential or eligible candidates sitting for the CHT exam in the near future.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational program by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), required. Master’s Degree, preferred
- Must have valid and up to date Occupational Therapist license
- Other related certifications
- Minimum one year of occupational therapy experience, preferred
